Arts PartnershipAMW

The County Arts Service works alongside the district councils, professional arts organisations, voluntary and amateur arts sector and the University of Worcester as an Arts Partnership.
The partnership has already created a comprehensive arts strategy for Worcestershire (launched in November 2010), you can download the strategy - The Arts Matter This document is in Adobe PDF format (4.7MB)
The Strategy was also launched alongside 12 Moves, the counties cultural Olympiad Dance programme for Worcestershire.

Arts & Health

A Symposium to Consider the Development of an Arts & Health Network for Worcestershire was held at County Hall on Tues 30th November 2010
The Symposium was developed to bring representatives from Worcestershire voluntary and statutory arts and health sectors together to discuss a range of topics linked to raising the profile of the arts and health sector in the County.
The Symposium focused on the following areas:
  • Inspiring and providing leadership
  • Communicating by creating an arts & health support network
  • Collaborating to creating a forum to discuss arts & health matters
  • Advocating for the benefits of arts &
